“BEST CHANGE EVER! 

We were excitedly planning our next big vacation around Scotland and Ireland.  The cruise line offered a variety of excursions at each of the ports, most with a lot of walking or on buses that toured selected sites and left abundant time for shopping at tourist stops.  Many were geared for agile and moderately active participants.  We wanted to visit several highlights too, but as seniors with some mobility issues they were mostly out of the question. 

Having used Odyssey Limo of Thousand Oaks, CA for occasional transport to the airport, we mentioned our dilemma to Dino Javas, the Owner.  We described the particular sites we wanted to visit in Ireland, and the type of transport that would work best with a walker.  Dino said his company served worldwide, including across the USA and Europe.  We inquired if we could schedule a driver for an 8-hour dedicated tour.  He set it up with ongoing coordination with us. 

It rained and was cold the entire trip in early July, causing several fellow travelers to cancel or simply pass on preordered excursions.  On our designated day, the driver arrived promptly to pick us up.  We were so very grateful Steve Hendrick (Professional Driver) was chosen by Dino!

Having majored in Irish history in University, Steve shared from his vast knowledge throughout the drive.  He was gracious, considerate and thoughtful of any wishes to stop for a bathroom break or meal.  At the Kylemore Abbey, Steve went ahead to secure a scooter as my walker would be greatly challenged by the uphill cobblestones.  I was delighted to explore the entire site in comfort!  After Galway we took the long route back, enjoying the vibrant green landscape and herds of black-faced sheep.  Steve regaled us with stories of Irish culture along with a few childhood adventures.  We returned tired but thoroughly pleased.  Of our many vacations around the world, this day stands out in our memory as one of the absolute best!  We highly recommend Odyssey Limo for your next excursion!"
